Ashi River flowing into the Songhua River near Harbin, south of the bank. Ashi River is a typical river under Case-V waters. There are many problems along the river making it worse, such as short of govern, polluted water from factories, low public awareness on environment and health condition and so on.

Based on the experiences, works and a series of relative implement & methods of sociology and eco-system -- supporting in the rural and oppidan communities, we attempt to find out the relationship among the river with local public, communities, government and enterprises in the supports of Participatory Rural Appraisal(PRA) and Problem Tree Analysis. At last we use the result to set a good community action example in protecting Ashi River away from pollution, press government and enterprise to take action of protecting Ashi river and stopping pollution.
